Polar Bear Run

Hi, Due to the nasty weather forecast we have decided to move the run to Feb 6th. Everything including the times will be the same. Hopefully the weather will be OK!!! Fred >>>>----> 12th Annual Polar Bear Run - This is a mystery run so no one knows where they are going until they get there. We will leave the Valero gas station (23002 Airport Street, Petersburg, VA 23803) at the intersection of Route 226 (Cox Road) and Route 460 in Dinwiddie at PRECISELY 8:30 AM on Saturday January 30th. If you show up at 8:31 be sure to look for the taillights in the distance. We will take a ride to a small town where you will be able to see a shop full of interesting stuff. And I have a wonderful luncheon buffet set up for us in another town. It will all be over by 1 or 1:30 including lunch and you'll only be about 50 miles from Richmond. Hunt for Hampton History

Hello Car Lovers, The City of Hampton is celebrating it's 400th Anniversary in 2010 and we are looking to have a car show as part of our Hunt for Hampton History. The Hunt is a great event on March 6, 2010 from 9am-3pm at the Hampton History Museum and the Rupert Sargent Building. We will have everything from WWII re-enactors, a Buckroe Amusement park exhibit, model trains, and much much more. A car show would really be a big draw for our crowd. Wheels of Yesteryear Myrtle Beach Open House

Wheels of Yesteryear, Myrtle Beach’s Muscle Cars and More Museum announces an Open House celebration beginning Friday, March 12th, Saturday, March 13th and Sunday, March 14th. During the open house weekend, all admissions to the museum will be at the discounted rate of $5.00. Mugs, select T-Shirts and Hats will be 10% off in the gift shop. There will be a Cruise-in on Saturday, March 13th starting at 11:00am with MC Cecil Chandler. Prizes will be given away for participating car owners. Representatives from the Promise Land Crisis Center will be on hand selling concessions and drinks. Wheels of Yesteryear is located off 501N near Tanger Outlet Mall. Virginia Chevy Lovers Spring Dustoff

New Location. Virginia Chevy Lovers Spring will be held on Saturday April 10,2010. Show will be held this year at Pembroke Mall in Virginia Beach, (Town Center) Show will be held at the corner of Va. Beach Blvd and Contitution Rd by Kohls Dept store. Open to all chevy or chevy powered vehicles built prior to 1986. Top 30 paticpant choice and best of show. Pre-registation is $15 before April 1st, $20. after that and day of show. Corvettes at Waterside

Beachcombers Corvette Club and the Vette Barn are working with Relay for Life as the beneficiary of the event and all net proceeds from the event will go to the American Cancer Society through their Relay for Life program. This is a fun day for Vette owners to gather, meet, and socialize. As in the past we are very restricted on how we park the cars, so please cooperate with the volunteer Vette owners who will be parking you. Location is Waterside Festival Marketplace, 333 Waterside Drive, Norfolk, VA 23510. Registration 9 AM to noon. Final announcements at 3 PM. See website for pre-registration forms. 2nd Annual Dover Days Car Show

Participant judging, best in show and top 10 trophies, plus dash plaques to the first 100 registered. Exhibit at car show on Friday from 5-9 p.m., participate in huge parade on Saturday morning and then exhibit on Saturday afternoon. Dover Days draws 15,000 onlookers. Pre-registration is $10 per vehicle; $15 day of. Hot rods, street rods, vintage, imports, antiques, muscle cars, etc. Free outdoor concert, food vendors, carnival rides for kiddies on Friday night -- Saturday is a huge day-long festival, now in its 77th year.
