Small Country Campground and the Zion Cross Roads Fire Department are pleased to announce the 2nd annual Que and Cruz on July 18th. Que and Cruz is a Virginia State Championship, KCBS Sanctioned contest (Co-Sanctioned by MABA) and a Car Show on the 18th with proceeds benefitting the Small Country Children’s Christmas fund and the Zion Cross Roads Volunteer Fire Department.Okay Car and Truck Enthusiasts, time to Cruz in and show off your pride and joy. Reserve your space early for only $10. Entries at the gate will be $15. Trophies will be awarded for Top 25, best of show car, best of show truck, best paint, furthest traveled over all, and club participation.
Judging will be done on a 100 point scoring system. Judges will review Engine Bay, Interior & Bed, Exterior, and Undercarriage. If your vehicle has any part unopened, locked, covered or obstructed, that part will not be judged. The categories will include, Paint & Body, Engine & Suspension, Interior, In Car Electronics, and Display. A special award will be given to the most Distance Traveled. No Alcohol, No loud radios and No Burnouts. The event area will be grass.
Judges decisions are final. No, you can’t see the judging sheets. Once judging is finished, the judging sheets will be removed from the premises.

Fun in the Son Church Car Show |
Peninsula Mustang Enthusiast in support of CHKD and Fun in the Son Church are hosting an open car show for all makes and models on July 18th from 8:30 to 2:30. The location for this event is 2424 N. Armistead Ave. Hampton, Va. (Across from Hampton Christian School). Registration starts at 8:30 until 11:30. Awards presented at 2:30. 1st Thomas Nelson Community College Annual car show July 18th to benefit the college automotive program. There will be 30 classes, a car corral, swap meet spaces will be available with a food vendor and music on site. The show will be held on the Hampton campus 99 Thomas Nelson Drive, in the parking lot adjacent to the interstate, registration runs 9-11:30 rain or shine. MCT VFW Honor and Support Show - Knuckleheads Witchduck Rd Va, Bc |
To Honor and support the VFW Post 9382 of Suffolk, VA. The average age of membership of the post is 78 years and includes veterans of WWII, Korea, Vietnam and the Gulf war to current War on Terror, Auxiliary of wives and husbands. These members have served honorably to give us the freedom we hold so dear. Some have participated in multiple conflicts and can no longer maintain their own building. Please come out and support generously.
Registration begins at 9:00 AM. Fee is $25.00 and 2 cans of food for the Oasis Food bank. MCT throughout the year supports CHKD, Susan B. Komen Research Foundation, Oasis Food Ministry, and VFW Post 9382 in Suffolk, VA.
